The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do—and they are just as determined to stay together.
Within the confines of a cave they're using as a makeshift refuge, they struggle to reconcile their people, Dwellers and Outsiders, who are united only in their hatred of their desperate situation. Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. Then Roar arrives in a grief-stricken fury, endangering all with his need for revenge.
Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble an unlikely team for an impossible rescue mission. Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival—he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.
In this final book in her earth-shattering Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this! I definitely thought overall this was a good conclusion to the series! I'm pretty happy there was not a lot of loose ends left hanging. Throughout this book there was a lot of emotions, heartbreaking situations, and even heartwarming moments.
I have to say I think my favorite thing about this book was the bond between Aria and Roar. Yes, obviously Aria is dating Perry, don't freak out anyone! Lol. Throughout the entire book you could see the incredibly strong friendship these two have! I loved it! Roar was having such a tough time dealing with Liv's death and he couldn't talk to Perry about it. Perry had so much on his plate it seemed like he didn't care about her death. Roar kinda felt alone but Aria made sure he wasn't. Every time he got upset or tried going off the hinges she was there to try to calm him down or at least back him up if he got to fighting with people. She didn't abandon her friend in his time of need. I also liked how they didn't even have to explain their issues and pain to each other. Aria was struggling with the recent news of finding out who her father was, and Roar, Liv's death. They both understood the others struggles and pain and just supported each other through those. I loved knowing they had each others back with everything despite all the other issues going on.
Aria. Man, she is doing so much. She is supporting Roar getting through Liv's death, supporting Perry in his plans to get Cinder back and into the still blue, being the one who had to be a barrier between Soren and Perry and Roar. Soren had a constant attitude with everyone and Aria had to step in a lot to prevent issues. This didn't really subside until Soren witnessed his fathers death. Aria was also helping break Cinder out of confinement by Sable. She even had to be the one to try and make peace between the dwellers from her POD and the Tides. All this while she was injured from the events of Through The Ever Night. To top it all off, she finally learns who her father is. One of the Horns. Specifically, Sables right hand man. She struggled with her emotions about this. She wanted to get to know her father, but also didn't and hated him for being aligned with Sable. She struggled with this and finally, once in the still blue, finally decided to give him a chance to at least explain things. I think the father/daughter moment they shared was a good start towards having a good father/daughter relationship.
Perry. I feel for Perry. He had a lot going on too. He was also dealing with the lose of Liv, his sister. But he couldn't even mourn her loss properly because he had Blood Lord duties to deal with. He had to coordinate getting Cinder back, getting the dwellers and Tides to come together, dealing with Roars attitude and why he was so upset at him, making time for Aria and their relationship, dealing with Sable torturing him, etc. It was a lot.
Lets table about the Still Blue issue. In order to get there they needed Cinder and the hovers under Sable and Hess's control. Hence the raid on Sable and Hess's mobile camp "the komodo." The raid didn't work out right and ended in capture. It took days and making some people ally with them to finally get out. The only problem was that thanks to Sable and his force, they were only able to sneak away with one additional hover. They got Cinder back in the process but couldn't transport everyone to the still blue. This ended up forcing an alliance between Sable and Perry to get to the still blue which of course, was riddled with Sable betraying people, ruthlessly killing more people who didn't need to die, and going back on every single word he made. So typical Sable. He definitely got what was coming for him in the end and I was pleased. He tried to force his rule on every one and it didn't work out like he planned this time. GOOD! I really dislike Sable.
One thing I thought was fantastic at the ending was that Perry full on took on the roll of Uncle and raising his nephew. He started taking time out of every day to do something with him. That was so incredibly sweet to see.
