Bookish things first. Any of you like Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series? It was announced this week that the series will continue with 4 new books taking place about 10 years (I think) after the events of the initial books! I'm super excited! The Uglies series has been one of my favorite series since I started reading, so I'm very excited for the new books!!! :D :D

So as a few of you may have noticed, I was MIA the past week and a half. Its been hectic. If you'll remember, we were looking for a new apartment. Well, all that was a bust. We still couldn't find anything we really liked in Tucson. We even expanded our search to James hometown 2 hours away in Sierra Vista and we couldn't find anything to settle on there either. And James couldn't find any way to transfer his job there as well. So guess what. We ended up renewing our lease where we are. Even though its a little pricey, overall, it was still a better option living wise than anything we looked at. So instead James is looking at transferring to a different position at his job with more hours to compensate and I'm looking into finding a decent job to help him with the bills. After all the searching and not being satisfied we had a long talk and decided staying here was our best option. So we ended up not moving! YAY! I have to say I'm relieved. I think this whole being flexible with the jobs is a better compromise than moving after all the places we looked at. Lets just say its worth the price of our apartment to a. stay on the safer side of town and b. not have to live in an apartment that is smaller and looked much more poorly made.
In some other news. I'm so freaking proud of James! He got a letter in the mail this week from his college telling him he made Honor Roll for his 3.5 GPA last semester!!! He hasn't been an honor student since like 5th grade. I'm so so proud of him!!! :D I'm hoping we can repeat his success this semester!
Also, I've decided to seriously crack down on losing weight. I won't get into super details. But long story short, my birth control implant made me gain 20-30 pounds that with it in, I can't get off no matter what I try. So the birth control implant is coming out this month and I'm hoping eating healthy and exercising will actually work without the extra hormones raging through my body screwing with it. I'm actually really excited about this. Not just the losing weight but the extra hormones being gone. Lets just say the arm implant was not good to me and I'm happy for it to be gone!!
Overall, I really think things are starting to look up this year now! :D

Also, can I just ask that if you like my blog and regularly visit, that you like the blogs Facebook page. I tend to share a little bit more to the Facebook page than actually hits the blog, including random bookish news, quotes, cover reveals, new or continuations of series, etc. And if I'm missing from the blog for a few days, usually I'm still sharing on there at least. So you get to see extra stuff that might be too small for a blog post!
