Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Its a way to get out there and meet new bloggers and discover new blogs. :)
Q. Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?
Um, lets see. Definitely memoirs. Also, historical fiction. Once in a while I'll find a book that pulls it off but other than that once in a while everything else I've attempted to read under that genre bored me or I just wasn't into it.
TGIF is hosted by Ginger at GReads. Theres a weekly question and then we do a re-cap of the weeks posts.
Q. Buy or Borrow: Where do your books that you read come from? The bookstore? The library? Do you prefer to own a book, or have it on loan?
I like a mix of the two. Obviously I cant afford to buy every book I want so usually I'll buy the books that I absolutely need to have asap and then I'll check out the books I don't have the money for from the library when they get the books. I also like the library for books that I'm not sure about reading, because then I can check the book and if I like it then I'll spend my money on my own copy. Do some of you do the same thing with books your not sure about? I also utilize my local indie bookstores trade credit program. I'm always bringing books in to trade for credit to get more books. :)
