Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Topic:
Most Anticipated Releases For The First Half of 2019

Ok, I had a hard time narrowing this down to 10. So I tried to narrow it down to mostly books I haven't talked much about yet minus the first one.

1. The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air #2) by Holly Black - I loved The Cruel Prince and have been dying for The Wicked King since. I seriously cannot wait to see how things are going to go down after the way The Cruel Prince ended.
2. Aurora Rising (The Aurora Cycle #1) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff - Guys, you know I fell in love with the Illuminae Files last year. After those books, I will literally buy any book these two write together no questions asked.
3. Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte - This book just sounds amazing! We all know I love a great fantasy novel and this sounds like it'll be one.
4. Children of Virtue and Vengeance (Legacy of Orisha #2) by Tomi Adeyemi - I was so blown away by Children of Blood and Bone last year. I avoided it for months because of the excessive hype and highly regret it. I finished the book in 3 hours. I loved the story so much. You can bet I'm going to be super grabby hands for this as soon as it hits the shelves.
5. Nyxia Uprising (The Nyxia Triad #3) by Scott Reintgen - I've said it so much. Nyxia and Nyxia Unleashed haven't got nearly the amount of attention they deserve for how amazingly well written this sci-fi trilogy is! And if you read my review of Nyxia Unleashed, you know I'm dying for Uprising after that freaking ending. I need this book and I need it yesterday.

6. The Red Scrolls of Magic (The Eldest Curses #1) by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu - Uh, yeah, I'm pretty much trash for anything Cassie Clare. I have yet to finish any of the Shadowhunter series and I still am dying for every single one of the new ones that'll be coming out in 2019. And hello, Magnus and Alec?? Yes please!
7. A Question of Holmes (Charlotte Holmes #4) by Brittany Cavallaro - I read A Study in Charlotte on a whim based on only one suggestion and just fell in love with Charlotte and Jamie and their story. You can bet a hot dollar I'm gonna be all over this once it comes out. I need to know if these two are finally gonna get together.
8. King of Fools (The Shadow Game #2) by Amanda Foody - Despite Ace of Shades not being a 5 star read for me, so much about the world really intrigued me. So I'm really looking forward to seeing where this story line is heading.
9. Sherwood by Meagan Spooner - Uh, a Robin Hood retelling where Robin is dead and Marian takes up his sword (literally). HELL FREAKING YES! I need this.
10. We Hunt The Flame (We Hunt The Flame #1) by Hafsah Faizal - I think every single one of us in the blogging community is super hyped for this!

    1. Yes! I have such a weakness for Robin Hood retellings!

Hahaha! Nice! The Knights game I assume? Very cool!

    2. Same. If you haven't read Lady of the Forest, I think you'd enjoy it. It's Maid Marian-centered and very good.

Yes! My daughter has become a HUGE Knights fan so she's extremely excited. :D

  5. I'm not huge on YA fantasy, which is a bummer because it looks like 2019 is going to be an amazing year for the genre. I hope you love all these!

    Happy TTT!
