Bout of Books 23: Wrap-Up

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 20th and runs through Sunday, August 26th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. So I finished the last half of Dreams of Gods & Monsters Monday night. I had started it before Bout of Books and wanted to finish it. So half a book there. I also got halfway through P.S. I Still Love You and almost halfway through Shadow of the Fox before Bout of Books ended. So not bad.

I'm pretty happy with all I got read last week! I finished a number of books and started two I should easily finish in the beginning of this week. I also did manage to participate in one of the two twitter chats. I had full intentions of participating in the second but slept through it. And I totally forgot to set my alarm for it. Oops. I did finish 4 whole books I had on my TBR, and got halfway through another. So I think that's a huge success as well!! :)
