Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Topic:
Longest Books I've Ever Read
So I have a few books that are longer than these, but they are omnibus's and since they technically have more than one book in them, I didn't count them. Only books that are one solid book.
- Breaking Dawn (Twilight #4) by Stephenie Meyer - 756 Pages
- A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOTAR #3) by Sarah J. Maas - 699 Pages
- Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass #5) by Sarah J. Maas - 693 Pages
- War Storm (Red Queen #4) by Victoria Aveyard - 662 Pages
- Gemina (The Illuminae Files #2) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff - 659 Pages
- Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas - 648 Pages
- A Court of Mist and Fury (ACOTAR #2) by Sarah J. Maas - 626 Pages
- The Host by Stephenie Meyer - 620 Pages
- Obsidio (The Illuminae Files #3) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff - 615 Pages
- Dreams of Gods & Monsters (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #3) by Laini Taylor - 613 Pages
The Host is still one of my favourites. I always thought it was at such a higher level than the twilight books.

YES!!!! I loved The Host so much!!! Despite liking Twilight in high school, I know I'd hate it now. But I could reread The Host for days!
DeleteI forgot Breaking Dawn and The Host were so long! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI forgot Breaking Dawn was that long too!! LOL.
DeleteI've seen several lists today with Breaking Dawn and The Host on them. I read Breaking Dawn and I distinctly remember how hard it was to hold that thick book while lounging on the sofa or in bed! LOL!

Right! That thing was massive. I can imagine. I know a lot of people who have read Breaking Dawn and The Host!
DeleteI have only read Breaking Dawn from your list, but Dreams of Gods and Monsters is on my TBR (after I read the second book in the series of course).
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week. - Katie
LOL. I finally got around to reading Days of Blood & Starlight and Dreams of Gods & Monsters about 2 months ago.
DeleteThanks! You as well! :)
I expect that The Illuminae Files will be on a lot of lists today. I love that those books are long, but they don’t feel long.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I'm sure! Right! All over 600 pages but with their format you get through them so fast!!
DeleteI loved Gemina and Dreams of Gods and Monsters. Soooo good. Have you read Obsidio yet? (I haven't... YET.) Here's my TTT.
ReplyDeleteI have! I really enjoyed it! I know some people had mixed feelings, but I really enjoyed it.
DeleteI've been wanting to finish the Taylor series for so long, but the books are massive and intimidating!
ReplyDeleteHaha. I finally sucked it up and finished that series about 2 months ago. I put it off for so long as well but decided to just read them and get it over with. LOL. Didn't enjoy the second book as much but the third was a pretty good wrap up to the trilogy!
DeleteI have not read any of the novels on your TTT post! They look like really good reads. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to get around to reading a few of them!
