Ok guys, so after a lot of consideration, I really can't narrow down to just 10 authors I'd like to meet because there are so many I'd like to meet it just wouldn't be fair. So instead I'm going to go with Tracy @ Cornerfolds idea and post about 10 authors I actually have met because that's a lot easier for me. :)

ReplyDeleteI hope so too!! One of these days when I get a new car I'll have the opportunity to actually drive up to Phoenix more to the bookstore that hosts A LOT of YA authors. Right now I'm limited to the Tucson Festival of Books once a year.

ReplyDeleteYes!!!! I was so excited to meet her!! I honestly wasn't going to buy a copy of The Cruel Prince early in the year but when I saw she was going to be at the Tucson Festival of Books I quickly changed my mind. Was not passing up the opportunity to meet her and get The Cruel Prince signed!

Wow! When I met her I think I only waited half an hour. But she also had like 3 or 4 different panels that day so I think it was a short wait since that wasn't her only panel/signing time. I know when there's only one time for signing the lines get huge!

Thanks! Meeting Kristen Simmons was the highlight of this years Tucson Festival of Books. She's one of my absolute fave authors! If you're ever in AZ, go to Changing Hands bookstore in Tempe. Suzanne Young currently lives in AZ so she does a lot of events at Changing Hands! :)
