Hartley Grace Featherstone is having a very bad day. First she finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her with the president of the Herbert Hoover High School Chastity Club. Then he's pegged as the #1 suspect in a murder. And if that weren't enough, now he's depending on Hartley to clear his name. Seriously? Not cool.

But as much as Hartley wouldn't mind seeing him squirm, she knows he's innocent, and she's the only one who can help him. Along with her best friend, Sam, and the school's resident Bad Boy, Chase, Hartley starts investigating on her own. But as the dead bodies begin to pile up, the mystery deepens, the suspects multiply, and Hartley begins to fear that she may be the killer's next victim.

Review: I really enjoyed this book! I loved the mystery! Ok, lets start from the beginning. It must have sucked so much for Hartley to find out her bf was cheating on her. I mean that would piss me off and to make it worse with the pres of the chastity club! And then to find her dead in his closet? Wow! Hartley is really strong first of all. I don't think I'd be able to handle all that, even if I knew he wasn't the killer. Now that all that's said. I knew from the beginning Josh wasn't the killer because everything seemed to conveniently placed for him to be. And second of all, I don't think Josh would be stupid enough to hide a dead body in his closet even if he did kill her. Everything was to conveniently set up for me to believe it, but as for an idea as to who really did kill her I didn't have a clue. I loved the mystery, I really did. Until the end I really couldn't figure out who the true killer was. I mean Hartley had some good suspects but I just couldn't see any of them being the real killer. I loved how she teamed up with Chase to find the real killer. It was so much fun seeing them get along, then not get along and then get along again. Lol. I couldn't believe who the real killer was at first! I didn't suspect her throughout most of the book but then when everything came out and things were explained I totally could see it. I'm surprised I didn't suspect them sooner, normally I would.

Chase... I'll admit I'm one to like bad boy types like him so I really enjoyed reading about him and Hartley. Lol. I thought it was so funny how she thought he was so bad but when she got to know him she realized he's not that bad at all. That's why I always give people a chance, you don't know how someone is until you get to know them. Not to mention, its always the people you think are bad that are usually the nicest to you. Chase was trying so hard to help Hartley and be a friend and she kinda took it for granted in the beginning. But I'm glad she came to senses at the end and started being an actual friend to Chase. Now for the good stuff... OMG! The scene in Chase's bedroom! I had a very good vision of what was going on and I liked it. Lol. Especially the image of his abs! Mmmm... Lol. Again, I reinstate my fact, I like bad boys. Lol. They're hot!

Have any of you read Deadly Cool? And did you like it? Let me know!

4 1/2 Stars!
