TBR Intervention is a weekly challenge hosted by Dani@RefractedLight, Anayami@Whatever You Can Still Betray & April@Books4Juliet.
The goal of this challenge is to help each other (fellow readers and bloggers) manage our enormous and constantly growing TBR (To-Be-Read) List. The rules are simple and everyone is encouraged to participate. It does not force you to commit to more than what you can manage to read in a week or so, but participants are encouraged to read at least one book within a week. You are free to choose the book you want to read and commit to this challenge. You may post your entry every Saturday, at the frequency of your choice--EVERY WEEK or EVERY TWO WEEKS. However, we will sponsor this event regularly every Saturday.

Last weeks TBR book:
The Iron King
Author: Julie Kagawa
I really enjoyed this book!!! It definitely lived up to all the hype! I'm so happy I finally got started on this series!! :D Ok, so I'm pretty busy today and I'm writing this post very quickly in between what I'm doing so that also means I havent typed up my review. BUT if I finish all I have to do early then maybe a little bit later I can write it up for you guys and post the link. Sound good? :)
Oh, and to everyone whose excited for my review of Hex Hall I have great news! I found another copy of Demonglass at my other library this week so I'll be able to read it and get both reviews up for next week! I'm excited I didn't have to wait too long to get another copy! :)
This week I'm committing to read:
Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Author: Laini Taylor
Summary from Goodreads:
Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.
In a dark and dusty shop, a devil's supply of human teeth grown dangerously low.
And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.
Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she's prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands"; she speaks many languages—not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out.
When one of the strangers—beautiful, haunted Akiva—fixes his fire-colored eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?
