Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books That Have Been On My Shelf For The Longest But I've Never Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. It was created due to their love of lists.

1. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead - This book has just been sitting on my shelf for months now. I've been meaning to read it, but then I get distracted by other cool books I find!

2. Frostbite by Richelle Mead - Same reason as #1

3. Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead - Again, refer to #1

4. Blood Promise by Richelle Mead - And again, obviously the vampire academy series is just sitting on my shelf. I swear I've been meaning to get to it. And I will, eventually.

5. Dark Flame by Alyson Noel - I just recently, finally made my way through Shadowland so I'm hoping soon to get to this, but it took me a year to get to Shadowland so don't hold your breath waiting for me to get to this.

6. Radiance by Alyson Noel - I've really been wanting to read this since the spin-off came from The Immortals series but I just havent got to it.

7. Dark Visions by L.J. Smith - I've also been really meaning to get to this. L.J. Smith is one of my all time fave authors AND my best friend has read this and tells me its really good, but I still haven't got to it.

That's whats been sitting on my shelf the longest. Pretty much the rest of the books have only been there since my B-Day in September. So Compared to the rest those haven't been there long. So mines a Top 7 today.

I've been intrigued by Vampire Academy. Have you read Vampire Diaries? I'm curious how they compare, as far as likeable characters and interesting plot. Great list!

I have Dark Visions on my TBR too. It's a massive book though! I keep putting it off for ones that have less resemblance to a brick lol.

The Vampire Academy series is awesome. They fall in my favorite series categories. Of course, I like vampire books though. Hopefully, you'll pick them up soon.

I really enjoyed the Vampire Academy books, though I was pretty ticked by the time I finished them. They just didn't end how I wanted them to. I've been reading the Alyson Noel series, too, but I can't remember what happened in Dark Flame, or if I've even read it! I know it's sitting on my shelf, though. ;)

Oh yes, Richelle Mead's books are all on my TBR too. I still haven't gotten around to them yet!

I love the Vampire Academy series - I just got books 4, 5 & 6 from the library.

Aww...I LOVE the Vampire Academy series. They were my last Paranormal Romance books before I mainly read YA Realistic and Contemporary fiction. I miss Rose, Vasilisa, Dimitri, and all other characters. I still listen to Audiobooks of the Vampire Academy series. They are soo good. It gives me a chance to go back to their world!!! Great choice, Brittani!!! Thank you for sharing!
