Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality as a way to share all the books we got during the week!

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. Its a weekly post to showcase what books you got, recap the week, and talk about what will be coming up this week on the blog!

It has the art of the characters on the inside of the dust jacket. It's incredibly beautiful.

Obviously I got some more Clive Cussler books for Christmas. I'm currently in the middle of Vixen 03. I really like the stories behind the Dirk Pitt novels.

So I got this actually 2 weeks ago from Scholastic, but since I didn't post at all the last 2 weeks, I'm including it now.

So I'm excited about this. If you guys didn't know, Kristen Simmons is one of my absolute favorite authors. So I'm super excited to have an advanced copy of her newest book!

So as you guys have noticed, I've been pretty absent up until this week. I told you guys I've been struggling with my depression. It's not going away guys. It's not going to go away for a while. I don't really want to talk about what's going on in my life with everyone at the moment, but I just feel incredibly broken and hurt and I'm struggling so hard right now. This is honestly worse than the depression I was in that made me start this blog in the first place. I just can't stop crying. I'm not happy. It's a challenge to even convince myself to get out of bed anymore. I'm in an incredibly dark place right now. The reason I finally started posting again this week is because I'm trying really hard to distract myself.

Christmas was ok. Ana got some neat gifts, including a kindle kids edition tablet. She's been very excited about that and she's got some great learning apps on it. I obviously got some books. I'm as excited as I can be right now about that. Also got a number of gift cards. One I'm gonna use this upcoming week to buy The Wicked King.

  1. *Hugs* Sorry you’re not feeling well. I hope you enjoy your Christmas books. I don’t get books for Christmas, but I like checking used bookstores in the weeks after the holidays. I find so many awesome unwanted Christmas-gift books.

    1. Thanks! Haha. Unwanted Christmas books? The horror of the idea! Lol. Thanks! I finished Vixen 03 and really enjoyed it. That sucks you don't get books for Christmas. Everyone knows that for me the best gift is a book! I will never deny a book gift.

Haha. I still need to read all the books in The Dark Artifices series as well. Lol. But since I have all three books now I might take a crack at it.

  6. I know just because it is a new year doesn't mean things just get better but with some time I hope they do. Enjoy all of those lovely new reads.

    1. Thanks. I'm trying. Last time I was this depressed blogging helped me. So I'm working on getting back into a blogging schedule to keep me occupied.

      Thanks!
