Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Its a way to get out there and meet new bloggers and discover new blogs. :)

*Just a note, if you choose to follow me I'd prefer you follow through GFC and/or Email. Thanks!*

Q. What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?

I would comment more on other peoples blogs. I was really shy when I first started blogging so I didn't really comment on many other blogs to get people to know I was out there.

TGIF is hosted by Ginger at GReads. There's a weekly question and then we do a re-cap of the weeks posts.

Q. Unexpected Books: Which books did you have reservations about reading, but ended up loving once you did?

The Girl of Fire & Thorns by Rae Carson. I was really iffy about reading it because I, even after reading the the blurb and everything about it, still couldn't figure out what it was about. So I wasn't sure I even wanted to read it. But a few of my blogger friends suggested that I do so I took a chance on it and I ended up really enjoying it!

  1. I'm also shy with commenting on other reviewers' blogs. I still hesitate a bit before posting it. New Follower.

  2. Oh yes! Definitely comment! I may not always comment right away, but I save posts of interest for when I get the chance to comment and I try to comment back on each comment on my own blog.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Ya. I to try to post comments on posts that interest me too but sometimes I just don't have the time. And I try to get back to people on my own comments. But that hasn't been working out the past few weeks since I've been so busy. But I finally have time so I'm gonna get to commenting back as much as I can!

  3. There are blogs that I follow that I'm shy about commenting on too - mostly author blogs. And I loved The Girl of Fire & Thorns too.

    1. Ya. I definitely feel a little more shy commenting on author blogs sometimes. And I'm glad you liked it too! :)

  4. I also don't comment on every post I read. Sometimes I just don't have much time, and I certainly don't have time to catch up on every post that's made by blogs in my feed! Wish I did, though. :)

    1. Same here! Time is a big issue with why I don't comment as much as I'd like to! I wish I had more time!

  5. I always feel like I am behind on commenting on my friends blogs anymore. It makes me sad. That's part of why I kind of wish when I'd started I had a co-blogger so we could share duties. But alas I didn't go that direction!

    1. I know how you feel! I feel like no matter how hard I try to keep up I'm still behind. Ya. I've been thinking lately about getting a co-blogger. But I'm still not sure about it.

  6. I was kinda shy about starting a blog and commenting on people's pages. If it weren't for my friend, I probably wouldn't have branched out.

  7. :) I was never shy but I've definitely come more into my own as blogging has continued.

As for me, I think I'd probably learn a bit more about blogger and HTML coding before starting. Love blogging but the actual blogging part wasn't easy to learn!

    Have a lovely week :)

    1. I was shy at first. But I have come into my own as well now! OMG! I completely agree with you! I definitely would have looked into HTML more if I had known had much I'd be using it!
